Samantha Ruth Prabhu is an actress and model from South India who has appeared in Tamil and Telugu films. Samantha was raised in Tamil Nadu by Malayalee and Telugu parents. In her late teens, she decided to work as a model.
On April 28, 1987, Samantha was born to a Telugu father and Malayalee mother. She was raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, becoming conversant in the Tamil language.
Ye Maaya Chesave, a Gautham Menon film, was her first major release, despite her signing up for Ravi Varman’s Moscowin Kaveri in the middle of 2007.
“Ye Maaya Chesave,” by Indira Productions’ Gautham Menon, was Samantha’s first single. Samantha is a well-known celebrity who endorses products and brands. In 2012, she also established her own non-governmental organization, Pratyusha Support, to provide medical assistance to women and children.
In accordance with Hindu customs in Goa, she wed Naga Chaitanya on October 6, 2017. They celebrated their Christian wedding the following day. On October 20, 2021, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya made their separation public.
