The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, the first film in a brand-new prequel series, marks the return of the Hunger Games film franchise following an eight-year break. The prequel film, which made an incredible $289.6 million at the box office worldwide, is still showing in theatres but may be streamed at home as of December 19.

Starting tomorrow, Prime Video will have The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes available for on-demand viewing in 4K Ultra HD. For $20, you may rent it online, or for $25, you can get a digital download of the movie.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, directed by Francis Lawrence, is a prequel to the first film in the Hunger Games franchise that takes place 64 years in the future. It centres on the ascent of Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), the future president of Panem, as an 18-year-old boy who falls in love with Rachel Zegler’s character, Lucy Grey Baird, a poor tribute from District 12 during the 10th Hunger Games event.

Peter Dinklage, Jason Schwartzman, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés Rivera, Viola Davis, and more actors also feature in the movie.
