Starbucks launches new drink for St. Patrick’s Day: How to try it for free

The lottery may be reaching astronomical numbers once again, but most people will be lucky to win a drink this month.

Following the release of its spring menu, Starbucks is launching a new drink for St. Patrick’s Day: the Lucky Matcha Cream Frappuccino. On Thursday, March 14th, It’s also have a BOGO (buy one get one) offer for Starbucks Rewards members that includes new drinks.

The ingredients for the Luck of the Matcha Crème Frappuccino are matcha, caramel syrup, milk, and ice. Whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a crunchy caramel-sugar topping are then added. For a brief while, the beverage is offered at participating company-operated and licensed businesses.

Additionally, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time on March 14, Starbucks Rewards members can purchase one handcrafted drink and receive another one free of charge.

According to Starbucks, handcrafted beverages are handcrafted by Starbucks baristas, from the new Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and Lavender Oatmilk Latte to the even new Matcha Cream Frappuccino.

Rewards members can find the Thursday BOGO offer in the Starbucks app and apply it on their pre-order, or when ordering in-store, they can ask their local barista to apply the offer at checkout.

A few notes about this offer: Limited to artisan beverages of equal or lesser value up to $10, available only through the Starbucks app and not through Starbucks Delivers, Uber Eats, or DoorDash; It cannot be shared with other users. Other offers and promotions are combined.
