Samsung releases its largest 8K TV to date

Samsung’s introduction of its brand-new Class QN990C Neo QLED 8K TV, which measures 98 inches, promotes the notion that bigger is better. It joins the 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch 8K QN900C Neo QLED TVs that will be available in 2023. The newest addition will make its debut at the CEDIA Expo 2023 with its 4K equivalent, which comes in sizes ranging from 43 to 85 inches.

The 98-inch Class QN990C Neo QLED 8K TV uses AI to improve whatever video you watch to 8K quality and is built up of Quantum Mini LEDs to produce over a billion colours. Additionally, it has an anti-glare screen and ultra-wide viewing angles, according to Samsung, so you can view what’s happening from any angle without having to block the light.

To offer the TV a more flesh-to-wall appearance, the structure is built using a 360-degree All-Metal Design and a Slim Fit Wall Mount. The new 98-inch Class 8K TV includes Cinema Object Tracking Sound and Dolby Atmos built-in for high-quality audio.

While the cost of the 98-inch 8K TV has not yet been disclosed, it is most likely going to be close to $10,000. Priced at $5,000 for the 65-inch Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV, $6,300 for the 75-inch, and $8,000 for the 85-inch model. The Neo QLED 4K TVs, in contrast, begin at $1,200 and continue to include features like Quantum Mini LEDs and Dolby Atmos.
