Krispy Kreme is making the most of its National Doughnut Day campaign, offering customers a free doughnut to celebrate the big day.

The chain says it’s the ultimate “doughnut lover destination,” and Friday, June 7, will be no exception.

“Krispy Kreme fans look forward to National Doughnut Day every year, and this year they can get their favorite for free,” Dave Skena, global chief brand officer said in a statement. “It’s a sweet day all around.”

Fans of the sweet, doughy treat can also get a dozen glazed doughnuts for an affordable price.

When is National Donut Day?

National Donut Day or Donut Day falls on the first Friday of June. This year it falls on June 7th.

How can you get a free donut on National Donut Day?

Head to your nearest Krispy Kreme on June 7th and pick out your favorite donuts in person. No purchase is necessary.

Krispy Kreme says that special or “limited edition” doughnuts are not part of the promotion.

Krispy Kreme is also offering customers the opportunity to receive a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2 when they purchase a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts in-store or at the drive-thru at participating Krispy Kreme locations.
