Meta is launching Meta Quest+, a brand-new VR game subscription service.
The company announced that the new service will cost $59.99 per month, or $7.99. Meta announced that you would only have to pay $1 for the first month if you signed up for a monthly subscription by July 31. When the Meta Quest 3 headset goes on sale later this year, the service will be available for it.
“With a combination of VR’s biggest hits, hidden gems, and back-catalog classics, this is the most affordable way to grow your library with killer content,” Meta wrote in the blog entry.
Similar to PlayStation Plus, Quest+ subscribers can redeem two games each month through the Meta Quest app. In addition, just like with PlayStation Plus, you won’t be able to play the games you redeemed until you keep paying for Quest+.
The initial two games chose are Cloudheead Games’ Gun Whip and ARVORE Vivid Encounters’ Pixel Tore 1995. Furthermore, Meta reported the games accessible for August are Walkabout Small Golf and Mothergunship: Forge.
