The 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards, also known as the SAG Awards, will recognize the best performances in movies and television shows of 2023 and will be held on February 24, 2024 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. It was held at Expo Hall. What made this year special was that it was the 30th ceremony, a milestone that celebrates the achievements of actors.
Unlike previous years, the ceremony will be streamed on Netflix, making it easy for fans to watch their favorite stars being honored. The nominees were announced on January 10, 2024 on an Instagram Live broadcast by Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae, further increasing the excitement leading up to the event.
For the first time, the ceremony was produced by Silent House Productions and directed by Alex Luzinski. Prior to the formal nominations, a special gala co-hosted by Entertainment Weekly and the Screen Actors Guild was held in December 2023 to set the stage for the upcoming awards.
