“Hacks” Season 3’s First Teaser Reveals a Premiere Date

“Hacks” has returned. Along with the news that the first two episodes of the Emmy-winning comedy series’ upcoming third season will stream on Max on May 2, the streaming service has also unveiled the first teaser for the show.

Max will launch two more episodes of “Hacks” each week after the initial two-episode run, and on May 30, the show begins with a single-episode finale.

The new video, which is set to Elton John’s song “I’m Still Standing,” features Deborah Vance and her head writer Ava Daniels getting back together in Las Vegas despite their separate careers in entertainment.

Regulars Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo are returning to “Hacks” Season 3, in addition to Smart and Einbinder. Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace, and Tony Goldwyn are among the guest stars for the upcoming season.

“Hacks” has proven to be a huge success since it premiered on Max (née HBO Max) in May 2021. The second season ended in his May 2022, with a lengthy cutscene added before this third season.

Smart has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her twice, once for each season. The show also won Best Director and Best Screenplay in its first season. He was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Einbinder and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Clemmons-Hopkins.

The source of “Hacks” is Universal Television. Jet Statsky, Lucia Aniello, and Paul W. Downs are the creators and producers of the program. Morgan Sackett, David Miner for 3 Arts Entertainment, Michael Schur for Fremulon, Statsky for First Thought Productions, and Downs and Aniello for Paulilu are among the executive producers.
