CMT Awards 2023: Here is the complete list of winners

The CMT (Country Music Television) Music Grants occurred on Sunday at the Irritable Center in Austin, Texas.

Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, who were both nominated this year and performed during the broadcast, served as hosts of the celebration, which was decided by fans’ votes.

With their 2022 song “Thank God,” Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Brown made history by becoming the first husband-and-wife team to win the coveted video of the year award at the end of the night. This was also the first time that either of them had won in the category.

Jelly Roll, a country singer and rapper, took home three awards on Sunday, including male breakthrough video of the year.

Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban, and Alanis Morissette performed at the event. Morissette made her CMT debut with a performance commemorating the 10th anniversary of the “CMT Next Women of Country” competition.

Shania Twain was honored with the “CMT Equal Play Award” in 2023, and various artists paid tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Although Underwood did not win any awards on Sunday, she is still the all-time winner of the CMT Awards with 25 wins.
