Ariana Madix makes her Broadway debut in “Chicago” to a standing ovation

The Great White Way now includes Ariana Madix.

On January 29, the “Vanderpump Rules” actress made her Broadway debut in “Chicago,” playing Roxie Hart.

Before her performance at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City, Madix was given an enormous bouquet of flowers. Madix’s mother Tanya was present, as were her co-stars from “Pump,” Lala Kent and Scheana Shay.

Madix was majoring in theatre at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, and had always dreamed of appearing on Broadway.

Following her relocation to Los Angeles, she was cast on “Vanderpump Rules.” When Season 10 of Bravo was being filmed, her longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval famously betrayed her by having an affair with her best friend.

Six Tony Awards have been given to “Chicago,” including best revival. Bob Fosse was the original choreography.

A few audiences posted comments on a video of Madi’x curtain call on Instagram. One person wrote, “I was there ! Arianna killed it!”

“She turned those lemons into the biggest glass of lemonade you ever seen,” another person said of Madix’s peculiar journey to Broadway. Cheers to your drink, girl!
