The 2025 Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC), which will include the best female competitors in the sport and give a record-breaking payout, is expected to be the richest women’s-only rodeo event. There will be barrel racing, breakaway roping, team roping, and a new goat tying display at the event, which will be held in Fort Worth and Arlington, Texas.
Women’s Rodeo World Championship Schedule
- May 12–14: Qualifying Rounds and Semi-Finals at Cowtown Coliseum, Fort Worth, TX
- May 13: Goat Tying Showcase at Cowtown Coliseum, Fort Worth, TX
- May 17: Championship Round at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
The 2025 PBR World Finals are held concurrently with the Championship Round, giving the finalists a magnificent stage.
Advance to AT&T Stadium
20 spots for advancement to the Championship Round at AT&T Stadium will be available at the 2025 WRWC: Professional Bull Riders (PBR)
- Three (3) Pros in each discipline: Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Team Roping
- Three (3) Challengers in each discipline: Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Team Roping
- One (1) Limited athlete in Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping
Any athlete with a Qualifier Series generic qualification, up to eight Last Chance Qualifiers, and athletes placed in the top 20 of their individual leaderboards are eligible to compete.
Showcase of Goat Tying
The Goat Tying Showcase, a brand-new event for the WRWC, will be held at Cowtown Coliseum on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. This first tournament will be open to the top 20 goat tyers on the W25 segment leaderboard as of April 13, 2025.
Details of the Payout
The historic $802,000 payment from the 2025 WRWC will be split as follows:
- World Champion Bonus: $5,000 per discipline per leaderboard
- All-Around Champion: $20,000 based on total cumulative discipline points from combined leaderboards
- Event Champion: $60,000 per discipline
Additionally, female rodeo competitors will receive an unprecedented $1.25 million from May 8–17, 2025, as part of the larger 2025 Women’s Rodeo Week, which includes the APHA’s Cowgirl Gathering.

- Cowtown Coliseum Events (May 12–14): Open to the public with free admission.
- Championship Round at AT&T Stadium (May 17): Tickets are available for purchase through PBRWorldFinals.com, SeatGeek.com, or by calling (800) 732-1727.
