Tigers vs. Pirates: Where to Watch, How to Stream & Pitching Lineup

The Detroit Tigers ended their six-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Texas Rangers on Sunday, July 20. Now they’re on their way to Pittsburgh, hoping to start a winning streak.

The Tigers (60-40) will play a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates (39-61) beginning Monday, July 21, and ending Wednesday. The Tigers lead the American League Central standings by 11 games over the second-place Cleveland Guardians.

The Pirates are in last place in the National League Central standings, 20½ games behind the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers, who are tied for the division lead.

Despite a season-long six-game losing streak, the Tigers have MLB’s best record and will be the first team to reach 60 wins in 2025. This is the team’s greatest start to a season through 100 games since opening 60-40 in 2007, however they finished 88-74 and missed the playoffs.

The Tigers previously faced the Pirates from June 17-19, winning two of three games, including the first game of a doubleheader on June 19.
