The Mustangs and Bears will play a rekindled rivalry game at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas during Week 2 of college football.
Not long ago, SMU defeated East Texas A&M 42–13. During Week 1, Kevin Jennings, the quarterback for the Mustangs, threw two touchdowns and ran another to help SMU’s offense reach 400 yards.
In the meanwhile, Auburn defeated Baylor 38–24. With standout quarterback Sawyer Robertson, the Bears threw for 419 yards but lost in the end.
