When Does MLB Spring Training Start in 2026? Pitchers and Catchers Report Dates

In early February, the 30 teams of Major League Baseball convene in Arizona and Florida for spring training in preparation for the 2026 season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers enter camp as two-time World Series winners, having bolstered their roster even more over the winter with the additions of outfielder Kyle Tucker and closer Edwin Diaz.

The first spring training games are set to take place on February 20, with players joining national teams for the World Baseball Classic a few weeks later. The regular season begins on March 25, with a full opening day scheduled for March 26.
