This weekend, the U.S. Open will begin its singles and doubles tournament at Flushing Meadows in New York, marking the beginning of the last major of the tennis season.
The tournament organizers revealed the greatest purse in history, $90 million, a 20% increase from the previous year, which will raise prize money for those at the conclusion.

The winners of the men’s and women’s singles titles, Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, took home $3.6 million each from the $75 million prize pool last year. At the competition this year, both are the top seeds.
