Survivor Season 49: Full Premiere Schedule and How to Watch Online

Now that “Survivor” is back, it’s time to grab a torch, dip it in, and get fire.

This week, a two-hour episode of Season 49 of the legendary reality competition series premieres.

In an attempt to outsmart, outplay, and outlast one another in Fiji to earn $1 million and the title of single survivor, 18 new competitors from diverse backgrounds will go to the Mamanuca Islands. Among the castaways are a Texas rocket scientist, a Hollywood film producer, and a political communications director from Washington, D.C.

The debut of “Survivor” 49 follows Season 48, which earned CBS four Emmy nominations, including one for host Jeff Probst and one for best reality competition series.

Additionally, the upcoming season will prepare the audience for the historic 50th season, “In Hands of the Fans,” which will feature 24 returning players, including two from “Survivor,” and 49 whose identities have not yet been made public.
