Diggs is a standout football player at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic High School in Olney, Maryland, and one of the best in the state’s high school football history. Diggs, who was ranked as the top player in Maryland, the second-best wide receiver in the nation (after Dorial Green-Beckham), and a top-10 player overall, was a unanimous five-star recruit.

Diggs was selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, made the first team all-state, received the Washington Post’s All-Met award, and played both defensive back and wide receiver at Good Counsel. Diggs finished his senior year with 277 running yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, and 770 receiving yards and 8 receiving scores. As a senior, he recorded 31.5 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and one sack.
