NCAA DIII Baseball Championship 2025: Complete Bracket, Schedule & Results

A selection show was held on May 12 on NCAA.com to reveal the 64-team field for the 2025 NCAA DIII baseball championship. The regional round of the competition starts on May 16 and ends on June 5 at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake, Ohio.

The competition in 2025 will have 64 teams playing in 16 regional brackets, each with four teams, using a double-elimination format.

History of NCAA DIII Baseball Championship:

The NCAA DIII Women’s Rowing Championship has showcased the best small-college rowing programs since it was first contested in 2002. The event has grown into a premier spring championship, emphasizing not only athletic performance but also the academic and community values central to Division III.

Held annually, the championship typically features eight teams, each racing with a first varsity eight (1V8+) and second varsity eight (2V8+) boat. Points from both races determine the national champion.

Some Key Moments in Championship History-

  • 2002: The inaugural championship was won by UC San Diego.

  • 2006–2013: Williams College established a dynasty with eight straight titles, setting the gold standard for DIII rowing excellence.

  • 2017–2019: Bates College emerged as the new force, capturing three straight titles and consistently finishing on the podium.

  • 2022: Wellesley returned to the top of the podium after a six-year gap, showcasing their sustained competitiveness.

  • 2024: Tufts University made history by winning their first-ever national championship, marking a new era for the program.
