The country’s best young baseball and softball players will compete in the 2025 Little League World Series.
There will be a field of 20 teams for the Little League Baseball World Series (LLBWS) and 12 teams for the Little League Softball World Series (LLSWS).
While Little League Softball regional tournament coverage started on July 5, ESPN’s coverage of Little League Baseball started on July 31 with the United States regional tournaments.
In Greenville, North Carolina, the LLSWS tournament began on August 3 and concluded on August 10, with the Mid-Atlantic squad from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, taking home the title. The LLBWS tournament in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, begins on August 13 and ends with the United States and International finals on August 23 and the LLBWS championship game on August 24. In the meanwhile, each region’s champion has been crowned.
The Seattle Mariners and New York Mets will play in this year’s MLB Little League Classic on August 17 at Williamsport’s historic Bowman Field. The game will air on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball” broadcast at 7 p.m. ET.
