Whether watching the race live or from the comfort of your home, the 51st edition of the BMW Berlin-Marathon will be an impressive sight, with over 80,000 competitors anticipated to complete the course between Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 21.
In the Elite Men’s Division, Sebastian Sawe will be a sight to behold as he attempts to surpass the course record set by Eluid Kipchoge, a five-time victor and two-time world record holder. As of September 20, Rosemary Wanjiru is the clear favorite in the Women’s Elite Division. The Kenyan leads the women’s field with a personal best time of 2:16:14.
