On Thursday, September 11, President Donald Trump is expected to attend the New York Yankees’ home game versus the Detroit Tigers.
It is anticipated that the Yankees would honor the 9/11 heroes and victims with a pregame ceremony.
The president has appeared at a number of sporting events this year, such as multiple UFC events and the US Open men’s tennis final on September 7.
The Secret Service, who typically arrive at the ceremony with canines ready before the president does, became more visible as a result of his presence.
Because of the increased security around Yankee Stadium, the Yankees advise anyone with a ticket to arrive early.
Three hours prior to the first pitch, at 4 p.m. ET, the stadium gates are expected to open.
