WWE SmackDown Shifts to SyFy for Two Weeks: How to Watch Live Without Cable

“WWE SmackDown” will have a temporary new home on Friday nights, thanks to the 2026 Winter Olympics.

“SmackDown” regularly airs on the USA Network, but the station has moved to 24-hour Olympic coverage until February 22. Most scripted shows on USA Network are on hiatus during the Olympics, but “WWE SmackDown” is a weekly live event held in front of live arena audiences, therefore it has had to find a new temporary broadcast home.

Do you want to watch “Friday Night SmackDown?” The show will now air on the Syfy channel on February 13 and 20. You can watch “SmackDown” on TV if your cable package includes the specialty channel. The show’s start time stays the same, at 8 p.m. ET.
