The 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii, the first event of the 2026 PGA Tour season, begins this week at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament, including the entire Sony Open TV schedule, streaming information, and complete tee times for the first and second rounds when they become available.
How To Watch Sony Open
Following a protracted offseason that included multiple exhibitions, the PGA Tour returns to action this week with the 2026 season opener.
The Sentry event has traditionally been the opening Tour event of the season, however it was cancelled this year. Instead, the season begins with the Sony Open, also held in Hawaii. And a great field has formed.
The Sony Open will feature four players listed in the top ten of the Official World Golf Ranking. Three of the players—Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun, and Ben Griffin—were members of the 2025 US Ryder Cup team. They will be joined by Ryder Cup partner Collin Morikawa and coach Keegan Bradley.
Players will compete for a total prize pool of $9.1 million, with the winner receiving $1.638 million.
Golf Channel will provide exclusive TV coverage of the 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii, while PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide featured group streaming during the tournament.
