The 28 teams who will compete in the 2025 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship were revealed today by the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Committee.
On Wednesday, November 12, twelve first-round games involving twenty-four teams will take place on campus. On Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16, the twelve first-round champions and the four teams who were given a first-round bye will play in the second and third rounds at four campus sites.
The winners of the four sites will move on to the semifinals and final, which will take place at Trinity College’s Robin L. Sheppard Field in Hartford, Connecticut, on Friday and Sunday, November 21 and 23. The championship game will take place on Sunday, November 23 at noon eastern time, while the semifinals will take place on Friday, November 21 at 12 and 3:30 p.m. eastern time. The champions of eighteen conferences will automatically qualify for the 2025 championship. For all qualifying colleges that were not automatically qualified, there were ten at-large seats available.
