“Smurfs” will soon be available for streaming.
According to a Paramount news release, the most recent animated “Smurfs” film, which made its theatrical debut in the United States in July, will be accessible for streaming on Paramount+ beginning on Tuesday, September 16.
The Smurfs go on a quest to rescue Papa Smurf, who was taken by the evil wizards Razamel and Gargamel, in this adaptation of the well-loved franchise. Rhianna (Smurfette), John Goodman (Papa Smurf), James Gordon (No Name Smurf), and Natasha Lyonne (Mama Poot) all do voice acting in the film. The latest film joins Paramount+’s “The Smurfs” (2011) and “The Smurfs 2” (2013).
IMDb’s movie Office Mojo estimates that “Smurfs” made approximately $117 million at the worldwide movie office.
