Lilo & Stitch Streaming Release: Date, Platform, and How to Watch

“Lilo & Stitch” will soon arrive on Disney+.

Last month, Disney revealed that the live-action version of the well-loved animation classic would debut on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 3.

Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the “wildly funny and touching story,” based on the 2002 original movie of the same name, follows the story of a “lonely Hawaiian girl [Lilo] and the fugitive alien [Stitch] who helps to mend her broken family.”

Since its late May theatrical debut, “Lilo & Stitch” has brought in over $1 billion worldwide, according to IMDBPro. Disney declared that a sequel was formally in development after the excitement around the movie’s premiere.
