The FIBA Asia Cup 2025 will be held from August 5–17 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
As the premier men’s continental basketball championship in Asia and Oceania, the competition is in its 31st year and includes 16 teams, including the reigning champions, Australia.
Pool games are played first, with the 16 finalists divided into four groups of four.
Teams that finish second and third in each group will compete for a quarterfinal spot, while the winner of each group will go directly to the quarterfinals.
Losers in each round are removed until two teams remain to compete in the final, after which the competition follows in a knockout format.
