According to SYFY’s description of Resident Alien Season 4, the season begins with Harry (Alan Tudyk) and his infant Bridget imprisoned on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting alien known as a Mantid (also Alan Tudyk) has gained control of his body on Earth and is posing as the real Harry Vanderspeigle.

SYFY noted that Harry escapes the Greys and returns to Earth for a confrontation with the Mantid Alien, but he soon discovers he might not have what he needs to complete the task.

D’arcy (Alice Wetterlund) and Asta (Sara Tomko) fight to hide something from Ben (Levi Fiehler) and Kate (Meredith Garretson), who are both in a desperate search for answers regarding what has been happening to them. Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) and Sheriff Mike (Corey Reynolds) try to investigate several unexplained deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike is starting to believe aren’t human-caused.

Harry is brought before the Galactic Housing Council in episode 6 to answer for his crimes.
