What Time Does the IndyCar Race Start at Iowa Speedway?

On Saturday and Sunday, the IndyCar Series will compete in two races on the 7/8-mile Iowa Speedway oval: a 275-lap race on Saturday and another on Sunday.

Having won eight of the last 9 races and the last 4 this weekend has been a Penske haven in recent years. This track has seen six wins for Josef Newgarden. But Team Penske has had a particularly difficult season. Recently, the team’s three cars finished among the final five in a field of 27 cars over the Mid-Ohio weekend.

There will be thirteen pairs of tires available for usage over the doubleheader weekend. There will be an additional set available for the high-line session on Friday.

Six-time winner Alex Palou is now two races ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, who has three race victories. At Mid-Ohio, Scott Dixon managed to sneak a victory last weekend.
