For the 2025–2026 academic year, Charlotte will host five of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s championship tournaments.
The dates and venues for each of the league’s 27 championships were revealed on Wednesday. Next year, the Queen City will host baseball, men’s basketball, and football games in addition to the ACC’s ongoing use of Bank of America Stadium.
In a news statement, ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips stated, “We look forward to returning to several familiar venues while also traveling to some new facilities, and we anticipate an exciting year of ACC competition.” “We thank our schools and partners who help to facilitate these tremendous events and make indelible memories for our schools, student-athletes and fans.”
Bank of America Stadium will host the 21st annual ACC Football Championship Game on December 6 in primetime once more.
From March 4–8, the Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament will move just north of Atlanta, departing from its longtime site of Greensboro.
One of the ACC basketball tournaments will continue to be held in North Carolina. For the second consecutive year, the T. Rowe Price ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament is held at the Spectrum Center, making it the 15th tournament to be held in the Queen City.
The ACC Baseball Championship at Truist Field will wrap up the 2025–26 championship campaign on Memorial Day weekend. It is the sixth event in the Charlotte area and the fourth at the Charlotte Knights’ home field. The Durham Bulls Athletic Park alternates hosting the event.
The conference champions for both men’s and women’s lacrosse will be crowned at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
