What started as an eight-team tournament is now down to its final four players following an exciting Tuesday at the 2025 College World Series, which included three games because of a weather delay between UCLA and LSU on Monday night.
By the end of Wednesday, it may be reduced to just two teams.
After a tumultuous ninth inning against No. 8 Oregon State, Louisville is set to compete against No. 13 Coastal Carolina in the first game of the day on June 18. This matchup will pave the way for an evening clash between No. 6 LSU and No. 3 Arkansas.
Should Coastal Carolina and LSU emerge victorious, they will progress to the championship series of the CWS, as both Louisville and Arkansas have already suffered one defeat in the double-elimination format.
