The selection show for the 2025 DII softball championship began on Monday, May 5 at 10 a.m. ET on NCAA.com.
Regionals for the 64-team championship field will begin on May 8 and the final rounds will take place at Frost Stadium at Warner Park in Chattanooga, Tennessee, from Thursday, May 22, to Wednesday, May 28.
First, there will be a double-elimination competition with four teams at each of 16 regional locations. Following regional competition, 16 teams will advance to eight sites for a two-team, best-of-three super regional. The eight super regional winners will advance to the finals. A best-of-three final series will decide the national champion.
