Netflix will air the final season of “Top Boy” this year

A new drama from the boys is here.

For its last season, Netflix is streaming the compelling British sitcom “Top Boy.” The series centres on the lives of Dushane and Sully as well as their competitors in the drug trade and is set in the fictional East London neighbourhood of Summerhouse.

Prior to being cancelled, “Top Boy”‘s first two seasons were broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK in 2011 and 2013. After a brief delay, the third season of the show on Netflix premiered in 2019 and the fourth season premiered in 2022. Thursday saw Netflix’s fifth and last season premiere.

The streamer says that in upcoming episodes, Dushane and Sully will face “new problems as everything they’ve built comes under threat from forces outside and within their empire.”
