In the Indian market, scooter versions dominate the electric two-wheeler sector. This year, it saw an incredible year-over-year increase, with about one lakh e-scooters sold nationwide each month. This year in India, a number of leading two-wheeler manufacturers, including TVS, Bajaj, and Hero MotoCorp, among others, unveiled new e-scooter models. 1. The Hero Vida VX2

The Vida VX2, which debuted earlier this year in July, is the most reasonably priced mass-market electric scooter available in India, with a starting price of just Rs 59,490 (ex-showroom). Additionally, it is the first business model to use the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. The Go and Plus models of the VX2 e-scooter come with 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh battery packs, respectively.

While the latter is said to travel up to 142 km on a single charge, the former returns a range of 92 km on a full charge. The Vida VX2’s single-piece seat, 12-inch wheels, 33.2 litres of underseat storage space, fast charging capability, turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes, remote immobilisation, and cloud connectivity are a few of its noteworthy characteristics.

2. TVS Orbiter

Since TVS already offers the iQube and X, the Orbiter is an entry-level electric scooter. It was first offered for sale in a few places in August 2025 for Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), and deliveries began in Bengaluru a few days ago. The 3.1 kWh battery that powers the TVS Orbiter has an IDC range of 158 km.

The e-scooter has 14-inch wheels, an 845 mm long flatform single-piece seat, and a 290 mm straight-line footboard. Even though this model is reasonably priced, it has several premium features like an LED headlamp, riding modes, turn-by-turn navigation, OTA updates, cruise control, hill hold assistance, USB charging, and reverse mode.

3. Kinetic DX

In July 2025, Kinetic DX was introduced in the country in two trim levels, DX and DX Plus, with corresponding price points of Rs 1.11 lakh and Rs 1.17 lakh. Both of the previously stated prices are ex-showroom, Pune. Deliveries of the e-scooter began in December 2025. It was created by Kinetic’s Italian partner Torino Design and is based on the famous KiHo (Kinetic-Honda) DX100 from the 1980s.

The 2.6 kWh LFP battery pack that powers the DX electric scooter guarantees a range of 116 km when fully charged. 90 kmph is the maximum speed. It has a number of cutting-edge technologies, including voice-activated navigation, 37 litres of underseat storage, riding modes, reverse mode, hill hold, and real-time trip statistics and vehicle data.

4. Ola S1 Pro Sport

On August 16, 2025, the Ola S1 Pro Sport was introduced as India’s first electric two-wheeler with ADAS technology. It costs Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), and deliveries are scheduled to start in January 2026. Adaptive cruise control, front collision warning, and lane departure warning are just a few of the advanced safety technologies included in the ADAS package.

When completely charged, the e-scooter’s 5.2 kWh battery pack with an in-house-developed 4680 Bharat Cell can go an astounding 320 kilometres. The S1 Pro Sport can reach a top speed of 152 kmph in only two seconds, according to the Bhavish Aggarwal-led EV company. MoveOS 6, the company’s most recent AI-powered operating system, will power it.

5. Bajaj Chetak 3001

On June 17, 2025, Bajaj Auto unveiled the Chetak 3001, their most reasonably priced electric scooter, in India for Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom). It is reportedly the upgraded Chetak 2903, sitting on the Chetak 35 platform. The Bajaj Chetak 3001 boasts a solid metal body and a number of modern features, including 35 litres of underseat storage, an auto-flashing stop lamp, direct me home lights, a reverse light, and hill hold assist.
