It concludes “The End of an Era.”
The last two episodes of Taylor Swift’s documentary series on her marathon tour will premiere on Tuesday, December 23.
The first two episodes of the six-episode series aired on Friday, December 12, followed by two more a week later.
Fans have so far had a glimpse into Swift’s behind-the-scenes concert preparations, which include intense training sessions and outfit changes. The stories of a few of the tour’s artists and other crew members were also revealed in the series. Naturally, Swift’s fiancé Travis Kelce also shows up.
Swift revealed on Thursday, December 18, that the final two episodes would be published three days ahead of their intended Friday, December 26, release date.
Swift said, “I wanted to say thank you so much for watching ‘The End of an Era’ and ‘The Final Show’,” in a social media video.
“The Final Show” is a concert film that includes both “The Tortured Poets Department” and the entire Eras Tour performance. On December 12, it was also made available.
Episode of the final Eras Tour documentary will talk about Swift’s friends and family.
Disney+ posted a preview film of the last two episodes on December 22, suggesting that the singer will talk about her friends and family.
Swift stated in the video, “Part of the Eras Tour is a celebration of my family,” before her mother, Andrea Swift, continued, “It goes back to my mother.”
Swift’s 2020 song “Marjorie” is a notable tribute to her late opera singer grandmother, Marjorie Findlay. At the end of the song, Finlay’s voice can be heard when Swift sings, “And if I didn’t know better I’d think you were singing to me now.”
Additionally, the teaser features footage of Swift with vocalist Gracie Abrams, who co-wrote the song “us” and opened a few Eras Tour performances. Swift’s well-known friends, such as Florence Welch, Ed Sheeran, and Sabrina Carpenter, were also included in the first four episodes.
