Women’s March Madness 2025: Last Four In, First Four Out & No. 1 Seeds Predictions

As the majority of Power Conference women’s basketball tournaments come to a close, the spotlight now shifts to Women’s March Madness Selection Sunday, where teams eagerly anticipate their seeding and matchups.

While elite programs have secured their positions, several mid-major teams are still in fierce competition within their conference tournaments, striving to fend off potential bid stealers and earn their spot in the NCAA Tournament.

South Carolina and UCLA have nearly locked in No. 1 seeds after clinching the SEC and Big Ten championships, respectively. The Gamecocks showcased their dominance against Texas, while the Bruins pulled off an exhilarating comeback against USC.

Texas and USC continue to be strong candidates for the last two No. 1 seeds, but UConn is also making a compelling argument to be included among the top-ranked teams in the tournament.
