Whataburger 75th anniversary burger deal

A Texas hamburger restaurant is celebrating its birthday by providing a special to the entire country.

Whataburger will offer 75-cent hamburgers to celebrate its 75th anniversary on August 8.

The Texas export’s offer for the #1 classic hamburger may be redeemed on its app between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time. The deal is limited to one hamburger per consumer with a Whataburger Rewards account.

“This anniversary is our way of saying thank you. Thank you for your trust, your loyalty, and for letting us be part of your table,” Whataburger President and CEO Debbie Stroud stated in a July 24 press release.

The company also announced that it will release the second series of limited-edition Whataburger Commemorative Cups ahead of the anniversary on August 5.

The chain has approximately 1,100 restaurants in 17 states, primarily in Texas, the South, and the Southwest.

Celebrate Whataburger’s 75th anniversary in your hometown.

The company stated in the press release that it will hold an anniversary celebration in its hometown of Corpus Christi to coincide with the offer.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we’re not just marking time – we’re honoring the memories, the traditions, and the quality experiences that keep folks coming back,” Stroud told.

The celebrations will take place at Whataburger Field, where the Corpus Christi Hooks, Houston Astros’ AA affiliate, will face the Tulsa Drillers, Los Angeles Dodgers’ AA affiliate.

The Hooks will play as the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits in the 75th Anniversary Celebration game, and fans will receive a coupon for the namesake side. Those who arrive early may receive a Whataguy mask or cape.
