The following are the nominations for Best Musical: Buena Vista Social Club, Dead Outlaw, Death Becomes Her, Maybe Happy Ending, and Operation Mincemeat; for Best Play, they are English, The Hills of California, John Proctor Is the Villain, Oh, Mary!, and Purpose.
Notable actors and actresses nominated include Audr McDonald for Gypsy, Darren Criss for Maybe Happy Endings, Mia Farrow for The Roommate, and George Clooney for Good Night, and Good Luck.
