Today’s Doodle Presents Dominican Republic Independence Day 2020

The present Doodle remembers the Dominican Republic on the 176th commemoration of its autonomy, as Dominicans overall praise the power of their country.

On February 27th of every year, the nation praises its Founding Fathers with a tribute at the landmark of Puerta del Conde, the notable door where the war for freedom was pronounced.

The Dominican president tends to the country, and banners are seen waving gladly. Portrayed in the Doodle work of art, the Dominican Republic’s banner was at first planned by Juan Pablo Duarte and consolidates the country’s emblem overlaid on a focal white cross and exchanging blue and red corners.

Famous universally for it’s warm and affable individuals, this Caribbean country on the island of Hispaniola praises autonomy with marches, shows, and neighborhood nourishments, for example, mangú (a plantain crush) and habichuelas con dulce (a sweet bean dessert).

Happy independence day, Dominican Republic!
