Today’s birthday of Indian film actor ‘Sharman Joshi’ : Here’s all about him

Indian actor Sharman Joshi has worked in theater and film. He has appeared in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati stage productions, but he is best known for his work in Hindi films. The actor, on Friday (April 28), turned a year older, and to mark his 44th birthday celebration.

Sharman has a place with a Gujarati Brahmin group of entertainers and performing craftsmen. His cousins, sister, and father all have successful careers in Gujarati theater. Mansi Joshi, his sister, appears in numerous television shows. His sister is hitched to television host and entertainer Rohit Roy who is the sibling of television entertainer Ronit Roy. Prerna Chopra, the daughter of renowned actor Prem Chopra, is Sharman’s wife.

Khyana, the couple’s daughter, was born on October 12, 2005. In July 2009, they were blessed with the birth of twin boys named Rehan and Varryan. Sharman went to the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi to get his MBA.

Filmography He made his acting debut in the 1999 art film Godmother, where he was praised for his performance as the troubled son of the protagonist.

Some of his best comedic roles are as follows:

Style (2001) : Sharman Joshi made his comedy debut in the 2001 film Style, a few years after he made his debut in 1999. With his comedic timing, Sharman, who played Bantu alongside Sahil Khan as Shantu, impressed the audience. After its release, the movie is said to have become a fan favorite right away and is still regarded as a cult classic.

In Xcuse Me (2003) : a sequel to his 2001 comedy film Style, Sharman Joshi and Sahil Khan played Chantu and Bantu, respectively. Even though the movie didn’t do very well, the actor’s comic skills made an impression.

Golmaal : Sharman Joshi’s performance as the innocent but mischievous Laxman in Fun Unlimited (2006) remains a fan favorite, making it one of his best performances to date and a box office hit. Along with Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, and Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman was one of the four friends in Golmaal.

Rang De Basanti : Directed by Aamir Khan, was another big-budget movie with Joshi in it. The title additionally highlighted Soha Ali Khan, Madhavan, Kunal Roy Kapur, and Siddharth ahead of the pack jobs. This movie became a cult favorite thanks to its IMDb score of 8.1 out of 10.

3 Idiots (2009) : Joshi’s performance in Raju Hirani’s 2009 film 3 Idiots was by far his best. The film has an IMDb rating of 8.4 out of 10 and stars Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Joshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Boman Irani.
