The Upcoming V24.40 Patch will bring ‘Fortnite Ranked Play’ to Battle Royale and Zero Build

In the upcoming V24.30 patch, which is expected on May 16, 2023, Fortnite Ranked Play will finally be available in Zero Build and Battle Royale modes.

In a blog post, the Fortnite Team confirmed that players will compete against other players from around the world to reach Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion, and Unreal ranks in Fortnite Ranked. Bronze through Precious stone will have three positions, and Tip top, Champion, and Incredible will just have one.

Ranked Season Zero will be the first season of Fortnite Ranked, and it will run until the end of Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 3. “based on your past match performance, as well as your performance in your first Ranked Battle Royale and Ranked Zero Build match,” players will be ranked when Ranked Season Zero begins.

If “Ranked” is set to “On,” players will be able to see their current rank on the left side of the screen. You will also be able to see how close you are to moving up in rank by looking at the progress bar. The number of matches in which either your team or you were eliminated, as well as your match placement, will either raise or lower this bar. The ranks of the players you eliminated will also “be taken into consideration,” and later eliminations will be counted more heavily than earlier ones.

“based on team eliminations and team placement calculated at the end of a match,” all members of a team will gain or lose progress. Additionally, the player with the highest rank at the start of the match will determine your team’s rank.

One thing to keep in mind is that, regardless of how they play the rest of the season, players who achieve Unreal rank will keep it for the entire season. Instead, players can work on improving their Unreal rank and demonstrating that they are truly the best.

Ranked will be supported in the Solo, Duos, and Squads modes of Battle Royale and the Duos mode of Zero Build in V24.40, and there will be separate ranks for Battle Royale and Zero Build.

In order for new players to get a feel for the game, they will need to outlast 500 opponents in Fortnite Ranked. Additionally, completing Ranked Urgent Quests will earn you seasonal in-game cosmetic awards for participating in Ranked matches. Every match will feature a brand-new Ranked Urgent Quest, but progress on previous quests will not carry over to the next match. The last surface level compensation for Positioned Season Zero will be the Shine brilliantly Act out that will flaunt your ebb and flow rank to different players in-game.

Arena mode will be removed when Ranked is released. Moreover, your position in the following Fight Royale Season will be a figure your qualification for Epic-facilitated competitions.

Fornite’s V24.40 update will make a couple of adjusting changes that will likewise be carried out in Positioned, including Material covers being diminished from 999 to 500, collecting rates being “slightly increased,” and another punishment for getting dispensed with that will see players dropping 50 of every material.
