It’s amazing how much has changed in a few months if you compare almost every NFL draft pundit’s original top prospects from August to their original rankings. After racking up the hours, these five players, who weren’t even listed as top prospects for the 2024 NFL draft when the season began, have made a name for themselves.
These are our top five rising stars from the beginning of the season to this far.
Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders
While everyone was aware of Sanders’ outstanding abilities as a quarterback at Jackson State, we did not anticipate his rapid adaptation and success at this level.
S Tyler Nubin – Minnesota
Since the end of the previous season, Nubin has developed into a fantastic football player, and his progress is evident every week.
CB T.J. Tampa – Iowa State
With his outstanding production and measurables, Tampa has a legitimate chance to sneak into the first round of a cornerback class that is deep but not top-heavy.
OT Taliese Fuaga – Oregon State
As the finest run-blocking offensive tackle in the draught, Fuaga is right there in the first round, right behind Olu Fashanu and Joe Alt.
Texas’s DT T’Vondre Sweat
A 6-foot-4, 364-pound man is impossible to dismiss in any situation, but when you consider that he is a potent interior pass rusher at that size, you can see why he might be selected in the first 50 picks.
