Tennis 2019, Italian Open: Dominika Cibulkova vs Naomi Osaka – 5/15/19 Italian Open Tennis Pick and Prediction

Dominika Cibulkova and Naomi Osaka meet in the second round of the 2019 tennis Italian Open.

Dominika Cibulkova is coming off a straight sets prevail upon Aliaksandra Sasnovich that took 17 games to choose. In the triumph, Cibulkova won 71 percent of her first serve points and 48 percent of her second serve points.

Cibulkova won 63 percent of her total service points and changed over on five of her seven break points. Cibulkova got a certainty boosting triumph considering these have been some extremely baffling a very long time for her with misfortunes in eight of her last 12 matches. What’s more, even with the losses and struggling structure generally speaking, Cibulkova’s competitiveness nature and feistiness needn’t bother with a lot to be reignited, so she’s not a player to neglect when falling off a triumph.

Cibulkova has 35 career wins over top-10 players and three of those successes came a year ago. Cibulkova has lost two of her last three matches on clay court.

Naomi Osaka is coming off a quarterfinal appearance in Madrid and has won eight of hr last 12 matches overall. Osaka is appearing of breaking out of her funk since the Australian Open, however her serve keeps on being a bit all over, and she’s coming off a match where she  provided 12 break points.

Osaka is equipped for playing preferred tennis over what she’s appeared at this point, yet issues with structure has been typical on the women’ side at whatever point coming off a fantastic hammer title. We’ve seen it with various players, so I guess we just ride it out a few more weeks with Osaka until the French Open. Osaka has won five of her last seven matches on clay court.

These two have played multiple times and Osaka has won every one of the three gatherings in straight sets, including the latest gathering a week ago in Madrid.

It will intrigue see which Cibulkova we get now that she’s coming off a win. When feeling better and playing with that feisty spirit, Cibulkova can beat anyone. The issue is Cibulkova hasn’t given any reliable success in months, so I’m hesitant to pull the trigger. Osaka has shown flashes over the last week and has had no problem hitting through Cibulkova, which includes a straight sets win a week ago.
