Sting has declared that AEW Revolution 2024 will host his last match.
During the AEW Dynamite programme from October 18 the legend addressed to the audience. He started off by mentioning some of the legendary figures with whom he has competed, like as Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Dusty Rhodes.
Additionally, Sting discussed his initial retirement in 2015. He claimed that having to hang up his boots at the moment had never felt right to him. Then Sting made it known that he will soon be retiring. He announced that AEW Revolution 2024 will be his final match.
The launch date for AEW Revolution 2024 has not yet been determined. Traditionally, the pay-per-view is held in March.
In addition to being a WWE Hall of Famer, Sting was an iconic figure in WCW and TNA during his legendary career, which began in 1985. He joined AEW in late 2020, and ever since then, he has been a featured member of the organisation.
