This week, the PGA TOUR Champions conclude of their regular season at the 25th anniversary SAS Championship. The event will be held at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina.
Two-time winner (2012, 2018) Bernhard Langer, 2020 champion Ernie Els, and 2017 champion Colin Montgomerie are among the seven members of the World Golf Hall of Fame who will tee it up. Additionally, defending champion Jerry Kelly has won the event twice, first in 2019 and again last year (2024). Every one of the top 13 in this week’s Charles Schwab Cup rankings is also on the stacked field.
The top 72 players in the Charles Schwab Cup standings at the end of the SAS Championship will go to the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, which start at the Dominion Energy Charity Classic in Richmond, Virginia, the following week.
