Oscars 2025: Here’s the Full List of 97th Academy Award Nominees

The nominations for the Oscars 2025 were announced Thursday morning, with “Emilia Pérez,” “A Complete Unknown” and “Conclave” leading the overall nomination count. This comes after the nominations were postponed twice due to wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

“Emilia Pérez,” a criminal musical about a cartel leader who has transitioned, has the most overall nominations, with 13. That achievement is just one nomination away from tying the record for most nominations received by a single picture; “Titanic,” “All About Eve,” and “La La Land” all received 14.

Behind “Emilia Pérez” in overall nominations were “The Brutalist” and “Wicked,” both of which got ten nominations. All three, along with “The Substance,” were among the 10 nominees for Best Picture, which included “A Complete Unknown,” “Conclave,” “Anora,” “Dune: Part Two,” “Nickel Boys,” and “I’m Still Here.”

The announcement of the Oscars 2025 Academy Awards nominees was originally scheduled for Friday, January 17. It was postponed twice due to the Los Angeles wildfires, which have killed at least 28 people, destroyed more than 14,000 structures destroyed and nearly 40,000 acres burned.

On January 8, when voting for this year’s nominees began, the fires raged throughout Los Angeles, so the Academy extended the voting period until January 14, when it plans to announce this year’s nominees. 19. However, as damage from the fire continued to worsen over the following week, on January 13, the Academy again extended the deadline for voting on nominations to January 17, with the nominations to be announced on January 23.

The Academy also donated $1 million to the Motion Picture and Television Fund’s wildfire relief efforts, including $250,000 that would have been spent on the canceled Oscars Nominees Luncheon on February 10. The Academy is still planning to present the Oscars this year, but announced Wednesday that the ceremony will also “honor Los Angeles.”

Check out the full list of nominees below, and be sure to tune in to the 97th Annual Academy Awards ceremony hosted by Conan O’Brien, broadcasting live on ABC and Hulu on March 2, from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, starting at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET.
