OnePlus has unveiled five new products, which include a new phone from its well-known Nord series, set to launch in Europe and India next month. The company plans to introduce two phones, a tablet, a smartwatch, and a pair of earbuds, and has already provided some details for each device, although complete specifications and pricing will be revealed at the launch event on July 8th.
The Nord 5 is the newest addition to the company’s mid-range smartphone lineup and is the first Nord model to incorporate a flagship Qualcomm chip — specifically, the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3, designed for more affordable flagship devices — along with an enhanced cooling system and support for LPDDR5X RAM. That’s all the information available regarding the phone’s specifications, but from the image, we can infer that it will be available in a light blue color (officially named “Dry Ice”) and will feature a dual rear camera.
The Nord 5 will be joined by the Nord CE5, which is expected to be slightly more affordable, but all we know about it is its “Marble Mist” color. In a conversation with Techradar, Celina Shi, OnePlus’ European marketing head, also confirmed that both phones will come with the new customizable Plus Key, instead of the company’s traditional Alert Slider, along with the AI Plus Mind feature that it supports.
The OnePlus Pad Lite, which the manufacturer describes to as “entry level,” looks like another reasonably priced choice. Instead of the redesigned design found on this month’s Pad 3, it features the same circular center camera as OnePlus’s previous tablets. A full specs sheet for the Pad Lite surfaced over the weekend, stating that it will have an 11-inch LCD display, run on the MediaTek Helio G100 CPU, and come with an optional cellular version. The business did not confirm any further specifics.
Lastly, the company has hinted to a new pair of earbuds and a smaller 43mm dimension for the OnePlus Watch 3, which will join the current 47mm variant. The OnePlus Buds 4 will be available in dark gray or green, include two drivers, and support Hi-Res audio.
