champion after champion. In double overtime, Northwestern defeated No. 2 Princeton 2-1 to win the 2025 NCAA DI field hockey tournament, its second consecutive national championship. With the game-winning goal by junior Ilse Tromp, the Wildcats won their third championship in five years.
