On Sunday, May 4, at 8:30 p.m. ET, the 2025 NCAA DII women’s lacrosse tournament selection presentation will be streamed.
There will be a 24-team single-elimination format in the 2025 tournament. On Thursday, May 8, the first round of play starts, and on Saturday, May 24, the final game takes place.

History of the 2025 DII Women’s Lacrosse Championship-
The first national championship in DII women’s lacrosse history was won by LIU Post over West Chester in 2001. After defeating Adelphi 13–8, Tampa won the 2024 DII women’s lacrosse national championship for the first time in program history.
