NCAA DII Softball Championship 2025: Full Bracket, Schedule & How to Watch

The selection show for the 2025 DII softball tournament began on Monday, May 5 at 10 a.m. ET on NCAA.com.

Regionals for the 64-team championship field will begin on May 8 and the final rounds will take place at Frost Stadium at Warner Park in Chattanooga, Tennessee, from Thursday, May 22, to Wednesday, May 28.

First, there will be a double-elimination competition with four teams at each of 16 regional locations. Following regional competition, 16 teams will advance to eight sites for a two-team, best-of-three super regional. The eight super regional winners will advance to the finals. A best-of-three final series will decide the national champion.

History of NCAA DII Softball Championship-

The NCAA Division II Softball Championship has showcased the top collegiate programs since its inception, highlighting excellence in athleticism and team achievement. In 2024, UT-Tyler made program history by capturing its first-ever national championship, defeating a competitive field to take the title.

UT-Tyler’s triumph marked a significant milestone, adding a new name to the list of champions in a tournament that has seen historic runs from dominant programs such as North Georgia, Southern Indiana, and West Texas A&M in recent years.
